When you are in Year 4 and you are learning about rivers around the world, what skill do you need? You need to be able to build a bridge! A strong bridge! In order to do that, you need to experiment with making a strong structure. You also have to work in a team!

A brilliant visit today from Sergio at the Red Sky Foundation! The children at East Herrington Primary Academy all had training on CPR and had a chance to practise it. On Friday school are raising money for a defibrillator for the entrance at East Herrington Primary which will also benifit our local community .

Fantastic staff training on responsive teaching. It was our first full Trust training, face-to-face, in over two years. Great collaboration by our talented staff who make a difference to the lives of children every day.

Our Year 6 children at Hetton Lyons Primary School have been working over the past few days with More Than Dance. We look forward to seeing their final performance today.Great work everyone!
